Easily Explained
Most of this is just so that I can end any order if a client is difficult or I get sick, depending on where in the prosses we are all or some of the money will be returned on cancellation.
This also covers payment, when and where to send it and to never send it if I haven't specificity told you to.
Some other things that are covered is copyright and usage, generally you can do what ever you want with it except sell it. Unless otherwise agreed upon I keep the rights to the illustration, but you keep the intellectual property of the character and/or world
General Terms

Prices are subject to change based on demand.

I have the right to reject any order for any reason.
Process & Delivery

The time it takes to finish your commission varies between a few days to a few months depending on different factors

Once the piece is finished you will receive the full-resolution image. Note that there is no physical product.

You will receive the file over email or other if agreed on
Revisions
-
You get 3 rounds of changes on the commission included in the price, that has to be used before rendering.

A fee will be added if you want changes after the render stage has started

If you want to go back to the mockup/draft stage, a fee will be added
Payment

I accept USD or NOK.

Payment through PayPal or Norwegian payment service like vipps.

Commissions can be paid 100% upfront or 50% upfront or 50% before render.

Do not send me any payment before I have agreed to your request and requested you to send me the payment.
Cancellation and refund

The buyer is not allowed a refund once I have started working on the commission.

if for any reason I am unable to start on your commission, you will receive a full refund.

if you cancel your order before I started, you can get a full refund.

if you are getting a refund, do not request a PayPal chargeback or any thing similar. I will transfer the money back to you myself.

if you request something like a PayPal chargeback at any point when you where not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit from it in any way. I will decline any chargeback and supply PayPal or other relevant party with our conversations.
Copyright and Usage

I, the artist:

I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.

I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork

I will not claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork.

I will not profit directly form the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.

I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well as publication such as art books.

You, The Customer/Commissioner:

You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels.

You may not make profits from the commissioned artwork, like selling prints.

You may not alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist) consent.

You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP)

if you want to use it for commercial purposes such as cover art or anything similar, discuss it with me before payment.

The following is considered copyright infringement:

Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially. Unless we have agreed on something else.

Claiming the artwork as your own.

Altering the artwork without my consent.

in some cases the commercial right to the image may be purchased
